CEO/Founder – eXodus Artisan- “I found myself after 16 years of being more & more socially self-isolated long before Covid after I got paralyzed at 15 years of age. Socializing was something I always found challenging but forced myself to do so, but when I got sick, I felt in many ways as a burden to the friendships I had around me. I didn’t like it when those got upset when I was sick quite often, paranoid that they thought I was just avoiding them, so I begun to take myself out of their lives & theirs from mine completely. Alienating myself was just the easiest step in my mind to take because it was a step my family always had done from judgmental communities. My Mother was a hillbilly, so we were them rambunctious ones that caused all sorts of mischief around the neighborhoods like Duke & Hazard. We moved a lot, making it even easier to drop friendships from your life, not making a real relationships with anyone. I am lucky to have met my wife at 11 & got together on my 16th bday, and she has social anxiety like myself so we Co-Self-Isolated.
When Covid hit, I finally decided to go post art online & try to help my depression through therapy art. I found a that others were doing the same, & in larger numbers because the world is now facing what I have my whole life… Self-Isolation. My fear of not living life became overwhelming to the point that it caused anxiety & pain that overshadowed the pain & anxiety I felt already daily that kept me away from putting myself out there. I founded the #OneLoveEmpire as a safe place of One Love humans dealing with issues like natal health & social injustices. We as a like minded group of individuals helped one another with our confidence & learning ways to improve ourselves & mental wellbeing. Years of building myself up, I finally want the world to see me. I want to “Conquer the World with Love & Art!”
